Along the Rapid River the “happy cows” at Superior Angus are born and raised on natural pastures and have access to fresh well waters. During the winter months, they enjoy high-quality hay and corn silage, raised and harvested directly on the farm. During the summer months, they are free to roam in the rotationally grazed pastures.
A small flock of Targhee sheep also call Superior Angus’ natural pastures home. They enjoy quality feed, room to roam and fresh water.
“Gustafson’s purchase grains, proteins, and mineral vitamin mixes from Stephenson Marketing Coop. They do not purchase any feed from us that has animal byproducts, medication or hormones added to it. They keep it as “natural” as they can.”
